Once again you have a parent who thinks that children are in harms way and does not tell the other parents, but instead tells Mike Beaudet and agrees to keep it a secret until he’s ready to run the story during a hot primtime Fox show. Young mothers like Jessica Cunha of Lynn are enticed by a reporter like Mike Beaudet, convinced that letting Fox expose it is the right thing to do. Older, wiser and far more coy than Jessica Cunha, Beaudet sweet talks her into not going any further with her complaint than him, turning to Fox rather than her community.
Mikey makes sure that we know that the teacher doesn’t work at the school for now, his way of showing that even if there isn’t a lick of proof, and an accusation is based pretty much on heresay, and speculation, that if he creates bad publicity, he’ll force a school to have to put someone on paid leave.
But if the police report were so full of evidence, it would have resulted in something more than just filing it away.
Cocaine is about $80 per gram according to Wikipedia. This seems like a very expensive habit for a public school teacher. Furthermore, if he did happen to come across it, snorting it on a card in a parking lot would risk a puff of wind blowing it away. She said he had powder on his face when he went into the store, but coke users know that you take what gets on your nose and sniff that too. So, is all of this even likely we wonder? Should someone be taken off their job for this?
Isn’t it possible that the guy was a little hung over, or didn’t sleep well, or woke up feeling crappy, wolfed down a hostess treat with powerdered sugar on it, and then ran inside because he was thirsy? The facts are stacked against this story but Mike Beaudet only cares about the fact that if he ran the story, the teacher is out for now.
It’s been a while since Fox Undercover Boston had a lawsuit since Jon Wells was let go, but with a teacher’s union now involved, this could be the big lawsuit that we’re all drooling to see.
Meanwhile, back at Fox 25 Studios, the Fox Undercover editing team put together video of blurred out school children and snowflakes in the school window, to juxtapose against their demonization of the teacher. And this means parents and countrymen that Fox Undercover and their hidden cameras are once again coming to your child’s school thanks to someone in your own school community like Jessica Cunha.
Really WFXT 25? This has gotta be the cheapest possible way to get primetime viewers to watch your news show. Right there with girls in bikinis (not at all beneath Fox by the way) or perhaps saying that your town is about to be attacked.
Fox 25 news is so desperate. See our other post on Fox Undercover Boston Level One Offenders
What percentage of level one offenders go on to commit serious sex crimes? We looked it up. All sex offenders properly registered have a recidivism rate of under 10%. If we get rid of level one, we reduce the number registered and more would be level ones run free. Good thinking Mike Beaudet.
UPDATE MARCH – WE ARE GETTING WORD THAT MANY OF THESE TERRIFYING LEVEL ONE SEX OFFENDERS WERE STATUTORY RAPE SITUATIONS (A MISNOMER) WHERE A YOUNG PERSON OVER THE AGE SLEPT CONSENTUALLY WITH SOMEONE JUST UNDER AGE.
Hey we all like best of bloopers, or funny moments, SNL sketches and all that. Mike Beaudet seems to find watching his old stories entertaining. Is getting off on his previous stories something to brag about? Can you imagine Christiane Amanpour reminicing about how funny it was when she was holed up in a dangerous middle eastern country and bombs were destroying civilian homes and killing people? Hey, remember when that little girl was torn apart, Christiane? Gotta watch that one again before I go to bed! So memorable.
Fox Undercover reporter Mike Beaudet rings in the near year by enjoying one more watching video of victims of a cult who he supposedly was filming to help expose the cult, at least according to this little reprint of his social media HERE
Ok its no secret that Beaudet has this unquenchable love for his own past stories. The guy seems to remind us of his last months favorite at every turn he can. But seriously, tweeting that you’ve gotta watch victims one more time before the year is out????
This so reminds me of a guy I once knew who was a great athlete in high school and has a big trophy case in his hallway. The guy sits and just admires them for an hour some days, especially when he gets depressed. I’m like, get over yourself. Time to grow up.
MIKE BEAUDET NEEDS TO APOLOGIZE TO THE VICTIMS OF THE UXBRIDGE CHURCH, VICITIMS WHO HE CLAIMED TO BE ADVOCATING FOR.
Fox Undercover Story on a Church or Cult on Uxbridge, MA
Fox Undercover recently did a decent story on a church in Uxbridge MA, called a cult by some and we think with valid reason.
No major criticism to this story. But one can’t help but reminded of several websites out there looking at the control over information and emotion that Fox News exerts. Maybe Mike Beaudet really doesn’t realize what he is doing?
Also a former Fox News employee exposes her observations after gradually realizing the cult like environment that she says she observed in her work around the Bill O’Reilly show.
Another asks if Fox News has become a cult of unconstitutional capitalists (I think this was before the election though).
There is alot more to come on the subject of cults and Fox Undercover News.
Keep your eye on this Fox Undercover Boston investigation. The average person sees the trailer and thinks, oh my gosh, another case exposed by Mike Beaudet, But read between the lines: According to the Worcester Telegram, the licensed day care was not only licensed, it was located in a different location, in a different town. No accusations of any kind occurred at that day care. Apparently the address sharing was between the day care company, and a level one. An 80 year old man who had no signs of re-offending. Many large companies have day cares at the same address as the companies themselves, but statistics show that there are probably sex offenders working on site. Just not with the children.
Great example of how things look different when you peel back the layers of a Fox Undercover story. And btw, Fox News republished the story. The telegram story was more geared at clarifying the matter.
Ah more small minded ideas. You can’t make current level one sex offenders public, because there is really no distinction then between one and two. Thus you are bumping all level one offenders to level two without due process.
And if there no longer is a level one (the only level which allows people to attempt to reform and live unstigmatized, not being repeatedly harassed, ambushed and re-publicized by Mike Beaudet when he runs out of new ideas), then all levels of registration are public. Fewer lawyers will accept level one in a plea bargain, thus there will be fewer sex offenders registered. Police will lose this valuable tool, which sometimes is the best the court can do if there isn’t much evidence.
Oh and by the way, running an unlicensed day care placed children in harms way. Licensing would prevent a day care from being run at the home of a registered sex offender. Parents should always require that their child’s day care be registered. Otherwise, they are basically paying a neighbor to watch their kids.
If you watch narrow skewed incomplete reports then you will get that kind of information and will be misinformed (like many other Fox News watchers).
Also, see how Lowell Sun readers are slamming Laurie Myers of Community Voices Chelmsford whose questionable comments and contributions have virtually destroyed her credibility (and no it wasn’t because she campaigned for Scott Brown).
